Yamate has one feature set and charges by headcount. Up to three people pay $19 a month on the Founder price, or $29 a month for anyone signing up after 30 November 2026. A crew of four to eight pays $59, and each person after that is $15. There is also a free plan for one person.

A fourth person moves you to the Company plan ($59 for up to eight), so the Founder price only applies to teams of one to three. A solo operator can also stay on the free plan.
Costs beyond the subscription
- •GST: None. Yamate isn’t registered for GST, so the price you see is what you pay.
- •Card payments: Run through your own Stripe or Square account at their rates. Yamate takes no cut of what you invoice, and PayID or bank transfer costs nothing extra.
- •Texts: Included on paid plans under a fair-use policy. Yamate says it would give notice before introducing any usage limit, and that limits would not change the Founder price.
- •Missed-call text-back: Free if you set up a call divert yourself; a dedicated number is a paid add-on (price not published).
- •Contract: None. Billing is month to month and you can export your data when you leave.
- •Accountant login: Free. A view-only login for your accountant doesn’t count as a person.

How much does Yamate cost?
Yamate is $19 a month for up to three people if you sign up by 30 November 2026, and $29 a month after that. The Company plan is $59 a month for up to eight people, then $15 a month for each extra person. Prices are in AUD with no GST added.
Is there a free version of Yamate?
Yes. The free plan covers one person with no time limit. Texts go from your own phone, and the Xero push and missed-call text-back need a paid plan.
Does Yamate have a free trial?
Yes, 30 days with every feature on and no card needed. When it ends you drop to the free plan rather than being billed.
What happens to the $19 Founder price after 30 November 2026?
If you sign up by 30 November 2026 you keep $19 a month for as long as you stay subscribed. If you cancel and come back later, you pay the price at that time.
Does Yamate charge per user?
Not on the smaller plans. Up to three people share one flat price, and the Company plan includes eight. Everyone with a login counts, office or on the tools, but customers and a view-only accountant login are free.
